Saturday....in the park (the dog park),

We spent an enjoyable afternoon at Nashotah dog park. I took Sparky to the small dog exercise area where he meet several small dogs. He must of spent 30 minutes playing chase with another young terrier. I am absolutly amazed with his recall. He can be all the way across the field playing with another dog and will come running when I call for him. I know we aren't suppose to take treats into the dog park but I just have to treat him for this. I knew Sparky was tired when he kept trying to cuddle up to the terrier owner's young daughter who was sitting in the grass. Looks like two young terriers will be naping the rest of the afternoon!

I am so excited to mention that of the eight dogs at the park today, four were rescue dogs. They were all wonderful dogs!
