Lori takes, usually they are poodle and terrier mixes. The rescue workers begged Fluffy Dog Rescue to take them since they know the chance of finding a great home in Wisconsin is good---and the four dogs were on their way. She arrived a couple of weeks later with her pups being 6 weeks old. She has been a wonderful mama. The pups are 11 weeks old now so it is time for mama to live in a home on her own. We do not know her breed. We are guessing Chi/Pom or Papillon mix. Her fur is soft around her head and she has a furry tail. She must have been matted since she arrived shaved very close. I look forward to her fur growing in as she is so pretty. She also was somewhat thin and is filling out nicely under Lisa's care. This is the picture we received of Deena from her rescuer in Alabama. The pups are 4 weeks old here. Wow, looking at it now, I notice her coat was really shaved.

Deena's Story:
Lori from Fluffy Dog Rescue received an email the beginning of August asking if she would take a mama and her three pups. The story we heard was an eight year old girl walked into the shelter crying holding a box with the pups. She said they needed to give her up because she had puppies. Deena is not the typical fluffy that Lori takes, usually they are poodle and terrier mixes.
