Shedding- a common question.

Zoe does shed. I have found if I brush her every morning, it is minimized. Often, dogs do shed more when they are rehomed due to diet changes and the stress. With a good diet and time to settle into their new home, it can reduce. Lori says all the wirehaired mixes seem to shed. The only dogs do not shed are some of the poodle mixes.

Just another note: I am feeding her a grain free diet which is the best type of kibble for dogs. There are many brands on the market. They are more expensive but the amount you feed them is less and their stools are smaller as there is less filler and byproducts in these foods. Currently I am giving her Taste of the Wild. This is a quality food rated highly by Dogfoodanalysis.com. It is one of the least costly grainfree foods. Lori sells it with her dog food business. Most quality pet supply stories also carry it. (Petco and Petsmart do not carry it)
