Transport leaves at 7:30am tomorrow CST from Alabama. Nine dogs are on this transport. Fluffy dog rescue is receiving 5. (Ralphie, Winny, Molly, Carl, Wilma) The dogs will overnight at volunteer homes in Indy. Sometimes the transporters send pictures our way... I will post if we receive them.
Tiny Molly will be transported in a little crate during her journey. Some transporters along the way choose to bring crates to transport their guests, some do not. This way our little girl will have her own place away from dogs she does not know. All dogs are walked and given water during transfers to the next driver along the journey.
8:30pm 9/10/11.........
Our precious passengers are now in Indy. The have been delivered, walked, watered, fed, petted, and bedded down for the night. Our transport coordinator says this has been one of the smoothest transports ever.
8:00am 9/11/11.............
Their journey has begun again. Molly's overnighters say she was sweet and puppy playful. Lori and I will be meeting the transport in Milwaukee at 2pm today to pick up the new ones. Three will head off to foster homes, the two others will be with our friend Lisa until a foster home can be found for them. Pictures will be taken and posted on petfinder. A very busy day ahead.......stay tuned.
