I meet the transport that arrives every other Sunday with approx. 8-10 dogs on it. I have a nice camera with a fast shutter speed, so I take new pictures of all the new pups and post them on petfinder. (the pictures we are sent from the shelters, have to say are horrible) It is so fun to meet these transports. I get to see the dogs personality and so often they look like such a different dog than one in the shelter picture. At the bottom of this page is a link that describes the wonderful transport process all done by volunteers.
We are trying to use youtube.com for our video's now. We have found a longer video can be displayed and music can be added......fun. This video below is one done at the end of last year and has a picture of almost all of the dogs adopted from Fluffy Dog Rescue 2012.
Also have been busy taking new videos and pictures of many of the dogs that have been with the rescue for a while. For so many of these pups, after a month in foster care, they look so much better. Their eyes are clear, their coat has thickened and they are happy. This shows in their pictures and time and time again after new photo's are taken, they receive an application.......yeah!
Happy to say, adoptions for the rescue are going well. So happy people are looking to rescue and petfinder to find their new dog.
Hey, check out the Fluffy Dog Wellness and Rescue on Facebook. Keara, one of our fosters and volunteers has been keeping the site up for the rescue.
We have several new fosters and doggie bloggers and I hope to add their links to the upper left of my page in the coming days.
Lori, who runs the rescue has revised all of the Fluffy Dog Rescue infomation pages. I really like the new format. It is easy to read and provides lots of information. If you have a chance, click on Fluffy Dog Rescue tab from any of our dogs available for adoption and this link will take you to the new Home Page.
As always, it takes a village of people to help these dogs on their journey to forever homes. Thank you to all who have helped.
