Kenton is at my home for a little pampering and to get some vetting done.

Kenton is the most gentle calm dog.  He just wants to hang out with you.  He doesn't bother anything and isn't a chewer. So interesting about these dogs found as strays.  They don't want to eat kibble.  His Alabama foster mom had been feeding him canned dog food and I am continuing it mixed with some kibble.  He sleeps all night in a crate and has been doing his business outside.

Kenton went to HAWS for his microchip and heartworm test today.  He is heartworm negative, yeah. We decided to hold off on his neuter until next week.  He has a skin infection on his rump and has begun on antibiotics.  Should be better next week for surgery and maybe even gain another pound.  This is what rescue is all about.  Giving these dogs some attention, vetting and TLC and they just blossom under our care.
