Gilmore, either a maltese poodle or bichon poodle, arrived this weekend. We do not know much about him other than he ended up in rescue in Alabama and we were asked to take him. What a nice boy and he sure loves his people. He does currently have a mild case of kennel cough so he came to my house yesterday. I only have one dog and she receives the bortatella vaccination. I have brought many dogs with kennel cough here over the years and she never gets it from them.
I hope to take some new pictures of him and maybe a video of him playing with a tennis ball, so cute. I have posted my notes on him the two days he has been with me on his petfinder listing and will update it as he is here longer and we get to know him.
His fur is very long and he looks chubby but is not overweight. Can't get him into a groomer with the cough now. My son said, don't cut it, he looks so cute!! Interesting, he must have had matts on his tail because it looks like clumps of hair have been cut off of it..
