(picture from somewhere in route, Alabama?) The "transport" process is volunteers driving car loads of dogs for a couple of hours and handing the dogs off to new volunteer drivers, they overnight in Indy and continue there journey to Hartland arriving Suncay afternoon)
We have two standard poodles on board today. Their human parents seperated and the one partner was neglecting them. Thankfully, she surrendered them. Also coming in are Biscuit, Diamond, Rascal Gilly and Grimbsy. I think it is Grimbsy in the passenger seat in the photo. Larry is the poodle. Can't wait to meet them. New pictures will be posted on petfinder tonight.
Home from lots of picture taking and baths. The word for today is FUR MATTS. Poor things. Both of the standard poodles has mattes all over their legs and hind. When I left Lisa and Lori were just finishing Larry's legs. What a good boy he was. I think they were going to work on Carters legs after some pizza. Biscuit was also horribly matted all over her body. I tried cutting some out for her pictures but think she will need to be shaved down. She went home in the arms of Kathy her foster mom.
