Belle and her cookies came to my home last night.
Lori, who runs the rescue, had two litters of pups at her home with mama Callie and her baby needing lots of care. When Baxter was adopted yesterday, I volunteered to take Belle and her litter. I had a litter last summer and of course said, never again, haha...........that didn't last long. These pups are just darling. They love being held and Belle does not mind at all. She is a very sweet gal and loves to be pet. I have a pen set up so she can go in and out as she wishes. We gave the pups a Dawn dishsoap bath (recommended by our vet) for their fleas which are very minimal now. At six weeks they can be given Revolution to get rid of them for good. They are four weeks old now and I started them on moistened kibble and they are doing pretty good eating. They all weigh 2lbs. So funny, they come out of the crate and do their business on the newspaper then back in the crate to cuddle and nap. They are starting to play with each other. I will have to try and video their walking, they waddle:)
