Belle in the kitchen.
Belle is done nursing. She still sees her pups but all they want to do is try to latch on so her contact is minimal. She has been great in our home. She really doesn't bother anything. She did get into the garbage once but that is it. Not a chewer, loves toys. She plays fetch with stuffed animals and will even bring the toy back and drop it for you to toss again. No accidents at all. I will give her a couple more days before I call her house trained. We have been going for daily walks. I am using the Easy Walk harness by Premier on her and she walks great. The leash latches on this harness from the chest and it really helps with walking dogs especially with pulling. She will bark a couple of times if she sees a dog but then whines to meet it. She has been great with all the dogs she has met. When I take her out not using the harness, she does pull if she sees something she wants to investigate. What ever breed mix she is..........she has a keen sense of smell. Loves to smell everything. She is very smart and although not high energy in the home, I really feel will need a daily walk, run or visit to a dog park to keep her stimulated. She loves attention but is not demanding of it. She often lays at my feet when I am on the computer. This morning when I laid on the couch, she laid on my abdomen and fell asleep. She is going to make someone a very nice companion dog.
