I was home most of the day so Cricket, Tinsel and I just hung out. She initiated playing with Cricket but Cricket the old grump didn't want anything to do with playing. Most of the day she curled up on the doggie bed or couch. It still amazes me how she can jump up on the couch being as tiny as she is. She has a little ritual, she fluffs and fluffs the blanket until she thinks it is perfect and then buries herself in it. Tinsel has a skip in her step when she is outside and can run fast but inside the home, she is pretty easy, either just checking things out or curled up watching the day go by. I have been taking her outside every three hours and she urinates, no urine accidents inside. She did poop inside, but it has only been a couple days, we just haven't come up with a schedule and process to make for her to know to go outside. She will get there.
Tinsel is very smart and obedient. When she wanders out of my site in the home I just say, hey, get back here and she comes right back to me. She has not bothered anything in the home.
When someone comes into the home, she will let out a couple barks and run really fast to happily greet them. Other than that, I haven't heard much barking. I was amazed when I put her into the laundry room at bedtime, she did not whine or make a peep all night last nigh.
Today, (Tuesday), Lori was able to get an appointment for her spay and microchip. I will be picking her up later. I think we will snuggle on the couch tonight and watch "The Voice". :)
