This is where Kringle has been the last 24 hours. He was neutered Friday and he doesn't want to move. The procedure seems to be so much harder on the tiny dogs. He is getting better as today has progressed.
Lori who runs the rescue gave me some Colloidal Silver liquid to work on his tear stains. Maltese and poodles are quite prone to the eye stains. I have been washing the area morning and night and the stain has lightened. I also trimmed off some of the darkest areas of fur. The new fur will grow in white and hopefully with keeping it clean, it will not have the deep brown stains he arrived with. I am also feeding him a grain free diet. I use Taste of the Wild kibble and grain free snacks. Grain free diets help to limit ear and yeast infections that dogs can develop.
