Honey has arrived to Wisconsin. It is a long two day trip being transferred car to car as volunteers drive these dogs to Wisconsin. She wasn't sure about the whole experience upon arrival (most aren't) but was friendly and cooperative. The doggie daycare with many strange dogs was a bit overwhelming to her so off to my home she came. Cricket and her have been getting to know each other, no issues at all. She met my husband and 14yr old son fine and immediatly enjoyed attention and affection. She is still settling in and I feel bad when her tail is tucked between her legs but with each passing hour we see it up wagging more and more. (hey, its only be hours here) We look forward to getting to know this sweet girl.
(Honey has a small sore under her left eye with fur missing. It is scabbed over and healing nicely.)
