Kenny had his neuter and several teeth pulled last week. The teeth had fractures with roots exposed and infection present. A couple days later, he came down with kennel cough. Poor guy. He has been on pain meds and antibiotics and yesterday I really saw a change. When I came home from work and opened the door, I yelled, hi Kenny. He jumped off the couch and ran to me with his little nub of a tail wagging. He then jumped up on my leg for pets. I was so excited to even see him jump up with excitement after the last week.
Later, I gave my dog a hard doggie treat which she walked away from. He ran up and grabbed it and ate it. This is the first time I saw him eat hard food since he arrived. Whoo hoo Kenny!!!!
