Sometimes you just wonder...........

We were told Ringo was surrendered due to escaping the fenced in yard all the time.  That is all we know.  As I get to know a dog...........I always wonder what their life was.   I try not to make judgements and assumptions because one never knows.

But......Ringo is so good in the house.  He doesn't bother anything.  He plays with an occasional squeaky toy and usually curls up in a doggie bed.  He comes over and puts his head on our legs for rubs and will put his paw on your leg asking for more rubs if you quit.  He rarely jumps up on the couch, usually just in the late evening and then he curls up and falls asleep.  He doesn't climb into you lap, we usually lift him up and put him there.  It does take him a few minutes to find a comfortable spot to relax in your lap but he does. He has not once soiled in the house and he immediately does his job outside.

Hum......makes me think, he must have been allowed in the house, he is just too good in it.  He must have been given some affection as he enjoys it so.........maybe not as much attention as he would have liked, but who knows.

Well, whatever life he had, time for a new one.  This one is a positive life, positive training, nurturing, caring and love.   He truly is a delight.

Did I make assumptions here, maybe, but sometimes you just wonder.
