Wonderful progress.

My husband has been on a business trip for a few days. Don arrived home while I was still at work.  He thought he would take him out of the crate and go outside with him.  Coby growled so he left him until I came home.  I let him out of the crate and Coby would be in the same room with him and take treats from him but would not let him touch him.  Well, that all changed Friday evening.  I sat by Don on the couch and Coby came and sat inbetween us.  Don gently began scratching his ear with one hand without looking at him.  Within minutes he had Don rubbing him all over his body.  By the end of the night they were great friends.  This morning when Don sat on the couch, Coby was up in his lap.  He also let my teenager pet him today and jumped up in his bed when he was in it.

I have to say, he is a very easy dog in the home.  He doesn't bother anything and isn't a chewer.  He hasn't had an accident in three days now.  He goes potty right away when outside, stays still for the leash to be put on and follows you back into the house. He has spent two days in his crate while I worked and did just fine.  In fact, he loves his crate.  He does jump up on the couch with you but hey, isn't that what having a dog is all about, snuggle time:)

On a side note, he is glued to Don this morning.
